CARING FOR YOUR BOOTS

Your new Muck Boots are constructed with high-grade materials and natural rubber. They are designed to be comfortable and hard-wearing, keeping your feet warm and dry in all sorts of conditions, but you must look after them carefully otherwise you will significantly reduce their lifespan. Be sure to clean your boots after use, using clean tepid water to remove mud, chemicals, animal waste, etc, as contaminants can damage the rubber.
Be careful to store your boots away from direct heat or sunlight and to also avoid storing them in extreme cold, all of which can cause rubber to craze, crack or split.
Rubber is a natural substance and, like leather, if it is not nourished it will dry out and crack. We recommend regularly conditioning your Muck Boots with a rubber conditioner to prolong the life of your boots. There are many rubber conditioners on the market and we always keep a selection in our stores too.

To remove your boots, we strongly recommend using a boot jack to prevent damage to the sole unit.
